Same things, different name
there's a lot of things here that we know, having different names. Lee's wife, Debby tried to show me some local southern food. She introduced me a vege named Okras and Boiled Peanuts.
When everyone thought it's something new to me... "oh.. it's a lady finger!". Okra is the "lady finger" or "kacang bendi" we called in Malaysia. The one i ate was fried with corn grinded flour.
Next, Debby brought me to have some boiled peanuts. the first thing i had in mind is the "sap fa sang" we called in hakka. No doubts, it is the groundnut i mean... Debby was like.. "You are kidding... no way! this is wat the southerns likes to eat".
take a look at the photos i took at the boiled peanuts.
